The speciality foods of Cayman is turtle and conch. I kid you not. To be honest our first trip here I tried turtle soup. It was really good.
Until we went to the Nazi concentration camp that the turtles we eat, are raised and then sent be my dinner plate? It is called the Turtle farm. They make turtle soup, turtle burgers, etc.
Needless to say, I have changed my mind about encouraging that, so now I eat conch. I love it. You can have conch fritters which is pictures above, beside the conch soup.
The fritters are often served with a Jerk mayonnaise.....funny name....Jerk is a very spicy flavour.....You thought I called the mayo a jerk?
