On a day like today....freezing rain, snow, damp and cold....thoughts of sun, beach and warmth are soothing to the soul......
We will be heading to Toronto on Friday night to begin our 2 weeks vacation at Coral Sands in Grand Cayman island. And "NO" Deb and I do not have a bank account in Cayman, but we can access our bank accounts as EVERY bank possible can be found there.
It has been a few years since we visited our time share. Last year a Hurricane caused some damage to our building. We will know more when we get there. But I found a few pictures of a previous visit to this beautiful island.
Pauline and I loved the little 'cool down' pool. It is freezing cold water, but in 80-90 degree weather it can be a necessary refreshing dip.
The beautiful star fish was pushed out of the ocean through one of the blow holes and died on the coral. It came home with me....what a great souvenir, right? Wrong! I could not get the smell out of it.....
The last picture is the view of Coral Sands itself. It has 12 units right on the beach. We are a 15 minute walk from Georgetown. A 10 minute bus ride to Seven Mile Beach....extraordinary beach!! As well there is a grocery store right across the street. We LOVE it there!
Oh yeah...and if we need a bit more spending money, to buy Dairy Queen (located in Georgetown) there are plenty of banks to chose from....lol
