What's for Dinner?

One of the best parts of Georgetown is the Fish Market. This is how it works. You arrive there and get in line at about 7am and 3:30pm, approximately. Make sure you make eye contact with one of the fisherman who are cleaning and filleting the mounds of fresh fish they just caught.
Grouper, Red Snapper or Yellow Snapper and Mahi Mahi are often on the table.

They will ask you what you want? How you would like it cut up? Fillets or steaks. And give you a cost?
You can ask them all the questions you need, they are really good about that.
For supper tonight we are having Red Snapper, filleted, with plenty of fish for 5 adults. $19. Cayman Dollars. Fantastic price for amazing fresh fish.
Note: Do not buy the barracuda...it is poisonous unless you know how to prepare and cook it. We were told that by a local Caymanian at the fish market in the past.
