Tina the Pitbull

Here is a new friend of Tammy's. Her name is Tina....she lives on a sail boat that is anchored in the Cayman harbour.

We met her by accident. We were out snorkelling when Tammy looked up to find this huge dog's head in her face. Things went from bad to worse. Tina tried to get on top of Tammy because of the long swim she already had from the sail boat. She could have drowned Tammy!

When we realized Tammy was in trouble, Donna and I swam as fast as we could to help, but by that time Tammy and Tina were in shallow water where Tammy could stand and Tina stopped panicking.

When the owner, Mark, after about an hour, came looking for Tina, the girls had a few words to share with him, in the spirit of love. Anyone but Tammy would have been drowned.

Having said that, Tina was a really friendly dog. She sat on the beach, she was so so tired, and played with us.....well not me....I am terrified of dogs.....HELLO..pitbull????

Tina got into the dingy when Mark came an off to home she went.

Unfortunately, for Tina, pitbulls are not allowed on this island. She will be destroyed if they catch her. It was actually her second time scaring us in the water. I am not sure if the sailboat is the place for this playful dog.....just saying....
