The girls knew the secret before I was privy to it. When I saw it....I was so thrilled. There in front of one of the jewelry stores was a huge picture frame of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, (Kate & Will to those who went to the royal wedding...lol).
We all stuck our little heads in and the photos were taken. But there was more.
The sweet lady in the store explained that the Queen Elizabeth, Cunard Cruise ship, doesn't always stop in Grand Cayman. So when it does, which it did on our visit, it is a big celebration.
There are British influences all over. On the store windows, balloons, the mailboxes are marked with the Queens insignia the same as in England, with the ER. There was also a multitude of sapphire jewelry, of course the significance is Kate's engagement ring.....which I also have......love it.
One of my bucket lists to do would be the TransAtlantic Cruise that the Queen Elizabeth does from New York to Southampton, UK. Seven days and the ship is THE trip. It is a step back in time. Someday......
