Owen Roberts Airport in Grand Cayman

The Cayman airport is quite small. Having said that it is very well organized and well run. Very clear about where you go. We were on our way out of the terminal in less than 15 minutes!
Just in case anyone is thinking of visiting, here are a few tips on the way it goes....
We depart the plane in a most excellent way, by coming down the stairs instead of hallways in Toronto. Right onto the tarmac. Head towards (follow the people, there is usually only your plane emptying) the one building surrounded by beautiful flowers, green grass, little lizards, and beautiful palm trees. You are greeted by friendly immigration officers (wearing sweaters??) who then direct you to the baggage carousel which is only one plane of suitcases. Yours!
You have one more stop to get checked by another friendly officer and then out the door to the incredible 80' degree warmth. Deb remembers that you line up at the "taxi dispatcher" podium immediately outside the doors. They take your money, 24 Cayman dollars, for 5 adults with bags to Coral Sands, call up a mini van, and a great, friendly local citizen whisks you off, (on the wrong side of the road, British Island) to your resort. It is like magic.....
